The best place in the world

I have to admit that when I came here I was totally scared and with a lot or nerves, it was a completely different place for me, it was a new experience, with people of all around the world, all with different cultures. But I was sure that something good was going to come of all of these new and uncharted things. Right now I can say that it was the best time of my life, I think I will never live this again because nothing can compare to this.

Even when everyone said that the rooms were so small, I had the lucky opportunity of have been living in the biggest room of all my building, also I lived with the nicest girls in all the campus, they are the best roommates.

I know that the Rita Hall food is not the best but I am pretty sure that I had the funniest moments in my life; I have to say that my friends are so crazy and at the beginning they were totally strangers for me, but I know that they are going to be there when I need them, even if we are going to be separated, we’ll still having contact or I’ll still seeing some of them. But I will be so sad because I won’t see them daily anymore. Some times it is necessary to let things go and know that some day you will be living that moment again.

Actually sometimes I have been so sad because I wish that my parents, my sisters, my boyfriend, all my family and my friends were with me but I always knew that the time run very fast and in the blink of an eye I would be in Mexico again, so everyone always were telling me that I had to enjoy this because it was a really amazing experience, that I was in New York so I had to be happy because it is the best city in the world, and now I have to say that it was totally truth and thank God I listened to them and I did what they wanted me to do.

I have to say thanks to all the people who supported me, even in the worst moments, also to the people who taught me and helped me to reach my principal goal, learn English. I want to say to my teachers: “Thank you for being patient with me and for teaching me all the necessary things to improve my English, also thank you for have been talking me about the daily life situations, all your tips have been very helpful to me.” I’m very lucky because I had the best teachers in New York, and I will really miss them so much!

The time to say good bye is coming so I have to be prepared for it, I know that something else is prepared for me so I have to keep going and never give up.
