A Life Goal
Everyone has one or more goals in their lives, because even if we don't want to think about our future it's imposible to not think about it, I think that we must have a guide to follow because if we plan the important things that we want to do in the future, they probably will be much better than if we just do it without thinking. Since I was a child I have been interested in science and every subject related to it. When I was 3 years old I knew the names of 35 dinosaurs, when I was 5 I always was in my grandmother's kitchen doing "experiments" with food and other stuff, then I moved to my actual city, and there I always was playing with animals and collecting plants or weird stones and all that kind of things. My parents noticed that I was really interested in nature and science so they decided to buy me some chemistry toys and a microscope to support me and make me more interested in this subject. Actually I really liked it, so when I was in middle school and high school I went to the chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics olympics. Right now I am so confused because I don't know which career is the best for me, I am thinking about study Biotechnological Engineering because I really love biology but this career is just in one university in the north zone of Mexico, I am already accepted and they are offering me a scholarship, but my parents are thinking about letting me go to the city where is the university because is one of the most dangerous cities in my country. But I have another career that I want to study, Chemical Engineering, and this career is in one university that is located in another city which is safer than the other city where I also want to study, I am already accepted in this univeristy too and I have a lot of family living in this city. I am looking for more careers but I think that I am still stuck between these 2, so I will try to be as sure as possible of my decision. Now I am so worried about making a mistake with my decision, but I am sure that everything happens for some reason, so i won't be sorry about it.

My Winter Vacations
I really enjoy winter vacations, especially because they are full of love and everything is calm. Also I can spend a lot of time with my family and the people who are special to me, and that is one of the things that I love to do because I have a lot of fun when we are all together.
This winter vacation was the best for me, because I have spent 3 months in New York and obviously I missed my family and my boyfriend, but the best Christmas gift was their trip to visit me. I was so excited to see them, because first of all they didn't tell me that they were coming to visit me because it was a joke, and then their trip was kind of a surprise. When they arrived here they called me and told me that they were here, that we were going to spend a week together in Manhattan, I was so happy to be with them during Christmas! Because I was afraid of being alone on that day, also because it is so important for me. They decided to come pick me up in Tarrytown, also they visited the campus and Tarrytown's Main Street. All of them were so excited to come to, so i packed up and we walked towards the train station, but the first train that was coming was so crowded, and it was a big problem for us because we were 10 people! but then we had to wait for another train and it was almost empty. Then we arrived in Grand Centran Station and we took the subway to the hotel. Everything was perfect... it was winter in Manhattan with my family and my boyfriend!
We did a lot of things, we went to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, Chinatown, Little Italy, Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, Wall St. 5th. avenue, World Trade Center, Museum of Natural History, etc.
We had a very good time together, but my parents, my sisters and my cousins, had to go back to México. My boyfriend and I stayed here in Tarrytown, but we also went to the Palisades Mall to go shopping and to have dinner, and also some friends my boyfriend and I went to Manhattan to the PBR show, in Madison Square Garden, we had a lot of fun there.
But then he had to go and vacation was over. So now I have to wait until March to see them again.
